Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (DGIP), an attached department of the Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan, invites electronic bids for the renewal of Netbackup solution and support services for a period of three years at DGIP Headquarters in Islamabad, Sector G-8/1. This retender follows the initial tender notice published on the PPRA and DGIP website and in two national daily newspapers. The scope of work includes comprehensive on-site support, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and software patching to ensure uninterrupted functioning of the Netbackup solution. The vendor shall provide 24/7/365 on-site support services with quarterly preventive maintenance visits and emergency visits as required. Training for three persons in local-based backup and recovery product certification is mandatory. The vendor must maintain equipment in optimal working condition and update software regularly to minimize downtime. All necessary equipment and replacements shall be provided at no additional cost, with a penalty of 10 percent of quarterly payment for failure to respond within 24 hours of complaint lodging.
Bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) or respective Revenue Boards for both Income Tax and Sales Tax, and must appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) for both taxes. The bidding shall be conducted under the Single Stage Two-Envelope procedure as prescribed in the Public Procurement Rules 2004. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Rs. 837,000 in the form of a Bank Guarantee, Banker's Cheque, Pay Order, or Bank Draft issued by a scheduled bank in Pakistan. The original bid security must remain valid for thirty days beyond the bid validity period.
Bidding documents are available on the EPADS portal at https://eprocure.gov.pk/ and include terms and conditions, scope of work, instructions to bidders, bid evaluation criteria, bid validity, and submission requirements. Electronic bids must be submitted through EPADS only, with the original bid security delivered to DGIP Headquarters at G-8/1, Mauve Area, Islamabad on or before 3:00 PM on June 29, 2026.
