Description / Scope of Work
The University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Sindh Province is inviting electronic bids for external development work related to the construction of the Faculty of Social Science Building under the Higher Education Commission funded project titled Strengthening and UpGradation of Academic Facilities at the University of Sindh, Jamshoro. The estimated cost of this construction project is Rs. 51.813 Million with a completion timeframe of four months. This is a single-stage, one-envelope national bidding procurement process managed through the Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority's EPADS portal.
Eligible bidders must be registered as active taxpayers with the Federal Board of Revenue for income tax and sales tax, or with the Sindh Revenue Board for works and services procurement. Additionally, contractors must possess at least five years of relevant experience in similar construction services within universities or large organizations, maintain an annual turnover of at least Rs. 55 Million based on five-year bank statements, and must not be blacklisted by any procuring agency. An affidavit confirming non-blacklisted status is mandatory. The bid security requirement is five percent of the estimated cost, equivalent to Rs. 2.590 Million, and must accompany all bids.
The tender fee of Rs. 5,000 is non-refundable and e-bidding documents are available on the SPPRA EPADS portal at https://portalsindh.eprocure.gov.pk and the University website at https://www.usindh.edu.pk/tender-notices from June 12, 2026. Electronic bids must be submitted by June 30, 2026 at 10:30 A.M. through EPADS; manual bids will not be accepted. Bid opening is scheduled for June 30, 2026 at 11:00 A.M.
