Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Building Department, Executive Building Division No.1 Rawalpindi invites e-tenders from eligible engineering firms and contractors for two major construction projects in the province of Punjab for the financial year 2025-26. The first project involves establishment of a School for Midwifery at DHDC and selected THQ Hospitals in Rawalpindi with an estimated cost of Rs. 17.116 million and a completion period of twelve months. The second project comprises construction of stairs and public toilets for the Church at Holy Family Hospital Rawalpindi with an estimated cost of Rs. 19.366 million and a completion timeframe of six months. Both projects are being tendered through the Punjab PPRA E-Tendering System in compliance with relevant PPRA Rules amended to date.
Eligible bidders must possess valid registration with Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and codes. All contractors and firms are required to register on the Punjab PPRA website at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk prior to participation. Bid security in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt at five percent of the estimated contract price must be uploaded as a scanned copy during online bidding and submitted in original to the Tender Opening Committee half an hour before bid opening. The CDR must be issued by any scheduled bank and made payable to the Executive Engineer Buildings Division No.1 Rawalpindi. Successful bidders will be required to furnish a ten percent Performance Guarantee within fifteen days as per PPRA Rules 2014.
Bidding documents are immediately available after the date of publication on the PPRA e-procurement portal. Contractors must submit complete tender documents including fully filled DNIT and BOQs with rate analysis, as incomplete financial bids will be declared non-responsive. Bids will be retrieved and opening will take place on 24.06.2026 at 11:30 AM at the office of Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Rawalpindi in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee.
