Description / Scope of Work
The District & Session Judge, Sahiwal invites competitive bids from engineering firms and contractors for the installation of a Hybrid Solarization (Off-Grid) System for Courts and Allied Offices at the District Head Quarter in Sahiwal, Punjab. This project is valued at Rs. 26,599,755 with an estimated cost including three percent earnest money of Rs. 797,993. The work is to be completed within 10.08.2026 and is listed as tender reference S.E BCS No. 478/D. The scope encompasses the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of a complete hybrid solar system with battery storage to ensure uninterrupted power supply to district court facilities and associated administrative offices.
Intending contractors and firms must be duly licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-3 or above with valid code CE-01, with PEC registration valid through fiscal year 2025-26. Joint ventures are permitted provided the lead partner is registered in C-3 or above. Foreign firms may participate as single entities or as lead members of joint ventures if they possess a certificate of registration from SECP. Bidders must hold active income tax registration and provincial sales tax registration under relevant authorities, provide an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper confirming no litigation history for the past ten years, and demonstrate at least ten years of relevant experience in the category. The earnest money deposit is to be submitted in the form of CDR in favour of the District & Session Judge Sahiwal at three percent of the estimated bid cost, uploaded on the PPRA website at least half an hour before the opening date.
Bid documents are available on the Punjab PPRA website (http://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/ViewTender.aspx) and bids must be submitted electronically on the same portal by 27 June 2026 at 11:30 AM. All intending contractors must obtain a hard copy receipt of financial instruments submission by the deadline. The tender opening committee will receive and announce quoted rates on 27 June 2026 at 11:00 AM in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee and interested contractors at the Committee Room of District & Session Judge Sahiwal. Unsigned and unstamped bids will be rejected, incomplete financial bids without supporting documents will not be considered for evaluation, and any submission of fake information or documents will result in disqualification and blacklisting of the bidder.
