Municipal Committee Shakargarh invites sealed competitive bids for the provision and installation of a solar system at the Municipal Committee office in Shakargarh, Punjab. The estimated project value is Rs. 66,15,000 (sixty-six lakh fifteen thousand rupees). Bids are invited on a percentage or item rate basis in accordance with PPRA procurement rules and Technical Specification rates as per MRS 1st Biannual 2026. This is a government infrastructure development project aimed at implementing renewable energy solutions for the municipal office building.
All participating contractors must be registered with the relevant regulatory authorities and possess valid business registration. Bids must be submitted in both numerical and written forms, quoted either above or below the engineer's estimate on a percentage or item rate basis. Conditional, unsigned, incomplete, or ambiguous bids will be rejected summarily. If the lowest quoted rate exceeds 5% above the estimated cost, the winning contractor must deposit additional performance security within 15 days of receiving the acceptance letter, failing which the 5% bid security will be forfeited and retendring initiated.
Bid documents are available on the EPADS (Electronic Procurement and Auction System) portal and PPRA website, with hard copies obtainable from the MO(I) branch. Sealed bids must be submitted on EPADS by 29-06-2026 at 10:00 AM. All received bids will be publicly opened on the same date at 1:00 PM at the Municipal Committee Shakargarh office in the presence of participating contractors or their authorized representatives. The tender opening committee will evaluate bids according to prescribed procedures, and the Administrator reserves the right to reject any or all bids prior to formal approval.
