Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Main Campus in Karachi, Sindh, invites quotations for the supply of fire safety and maintenance tools for all buildings on its University Road campus. This Request for Quotation (RFQ-003797) seeks 14 fiberglass-handle axes (1.5 kg, 900mm length, Harden brand or equivalent), 14 Harden sledge hammers (12 LB capacity with fiberglass handles), and 14 bolt cutters (14-inch size, Harden brand or equivalent). All items must be delivered to the Stores at IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi. The quotation deadline is 15 June 2026 at 1:00 PM. Interested bidders are requested to submit their quotations by the specified date and time.
Bidders must ensure that all materials comply strictly with the detailed specifications provided in the RFQ, including dimensions, weight, and brand requirements. Materials will be subject to final inspection upon delivery. IBA reserves the right to cancel any or all items if the materials do not conform to specifications or if delivery is delayed. Payment will be made through crossed cheque only after receipt of the invoice and delivery of the items. General Sales Tax will be applied to applicable items. A liquidity damage penalty of 2% per month will be imposed for any delayed delivery.
Bid documents and specifications can be obtained from the Purchase Department at IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, by contacting the telephone number 021-38104700, extension 2156. Quotations must be submitted to the Purchase Department in the prescribed format. All government taxes, levies, and charges including stamp duty at 0.35% will be charged at actual rates as per applicable SROs and the final Purchase Order. IBA reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation without assigning reasons and may distribute items among multiple responsive bidders or to a single lowest responsive bidder at its sole discretion.
