THQ Hospital Khar Fort Munro invites sealed tenders from well-reputed chemists and druggists licensed under the Drug Act 1976 for the supply of medicines and surgical disposable items required on a daily basis for the financial year 2026-27. The hospital is located in Fort Munro and requires continuous supply of essential pharmaceutical products to support its operations. The successful contractor will establish a retail point within the hospital premises and must ensure emergency medicines are provided immediately upon demand. Delivery of all medicines must occur on a daily basis throughout the contract period.
Eligible suppliers must hold valid licenses under the Drug Act 1976 and possess GST, Professional Tax, and Income Tax certificates. Quotations must be submitted with typed discount rates on the retail price of medicines; handwritten discounts will not be accepted. The successful bidder is required to deposit 5% of the total budget allocated amount as a refundable guarantee at the termination of the contract. Previous performance and reputation shall be given due consideration during tender evaluation. The Medical Superintendent or designated representative retains the right to accept or reject any or all quotations without assigning reasons.
Sealed tenders marked as "TENDER FOR PURCHASE OF MEDICINES THQ HOSPITAL KHAR FORT MUNRO" must be submitted to the undersigned by 1000 hours on 29 June 2026, with opening scheduled for 1100 hours the same day in the presence of participants or their representatives.
