Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation invites electronic bids for loading and transportation of rock salt from Makrach Mine No. 58 at PMDC Salt Mines, Makrach, located in the Federal territory. The contract is for a period of one year and covers three separate transportation routes: loading and transportation of good quality rock salt to Makrach Bhelowal Depot (16 km distance) with an estimated emergency quantity not exceeding the quantity for LCI Khewra route, loading and transportation to Makrach Weighbridge (6 km distance) with an annual limit of 100 metric tons subject to dispatch requirements and quality standards, and loading and transportation to M/s. LCI Khewra Direct (36 km distance) with an estimated annual quantity of 6,000 metric tons and monthly requirement of 500 metric tons. All routes include full loading and unloading services, and only good quality rock salt without boulders, lumpy sizes, or mixing of fines (soor) is acceptable.
Intending bidders must be registered with the Income Tax Department and Punjab Revenue Authority and be on the active taxpayers list of the Federal Board of Revenue. A bid security of Rs. 100,000 in the form of demand draft or pay order must accompany the electronic submission. The original bid security instrument must be physically submitted to the undersigned before the online submission deadline, otherwise the bid will not be opened. Bidders must submit all three rates against serial numbers a, b, and c, or their bids will be rejected as incomplete; evaluation will be conducted on an overall cumulative basis with serial items a and b not considered for evaluation due to unfixed targets.
Electronic bidding documents are available for free download from the EPADS-PPRA website at https://eprocure.gov.pk. Electronic bids prepared in accordance with bidding instructions must be submitted via EPADS on or before 29 June 2026 at 11:00 AM, and tenders will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of participating bidders.
