Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) invites electronic bids on an 'as is where is' basis for the sale of old and unserviceable power transformers through a single stage single envelope national competitive bidding procedure. The procurement is advertised under tender number PMU-S-04/2025-26-R and will be opened on 30 June 2026 through the E-PADS portal managed by PPRA. The unserviceable material is located at the SEPCO warehouse in Sukkur, Sindh, and interested bidders may inspect the transformers on any working day between 21 April 2026 and 7 May 2026 during office hours at the warehouse near the 132kV Grid Station on Arain Road in Sukkur.
Eligible bidders must be tax payer registered firms with valid CNIC, NTN registration, and STRN if available. Bidders must not be blacklisted, debarred, or in default against any disposal order issued by WAPDA, NTDC, or DISCOs. All bids must be accompanied by bid security or earnest money from a schedule bank in the form of a CDR, bank guarantee, or pay order valid for 120 days from the opening date, payable to the Chief Engineer (Development) at PMU SEPCO Sukkur. The bid security must be submitted in a physical envelope before the electronic bid submission deadline at the office of the Chief Engineer (Development) in Room 201, 2nd Floor, Al Sehra Building, Minara Road near Session Court, Sukkur.
The detailed bidding document containing terms and conditions, technical specifications, evaluation criteria, and procurement methodology is available on the E-PADS platform at the PPRA website. Interested bidders must register on E-PADS and submit their bids electronically through the portal. All bids must remain valid for 90 calendar days from the date of opening, and bids submitted outside the E-PADS system will be treated as non-responsive. For registration, training, or further information regarding E-PADS, bidders should contact PPRA at 1st Floor FBC Building, Sector G-5/2, Islamabad. The tender will be opened on E-PADS in the presence of authorized bidder representatives at the Chief Engineer's office in Sukkur.
