Description / Scope of Work
The Parks & Recreation Department of Town Municipal Corporation Saddar, Karachi, Sindh, invites procurement of multiple development and beautification works under the Annual Procurement Plan for the financial year 2025-26. The project comprises nine distinct works valued at a combined budget of approximately 26 million Pakistani Rupees. Projects include providing and fixing marble stone canopy at Aram Bagh Family Park, improvement of tree plantation at Central Belt and Abdullah Haroon Road, providing sitting benches and colouring plantation at Iqbal Market in the old city area, maintenance of lawn and plantation works at DC Complex with installation of physical appliances, painting and beautification of side belt walls at Parsa City Khayaban-e-Iqbal Clifton, installation of wooden canopy and beautification works at Noorani Park along the racecourse line in UC-05, and installation of electrical and mechanical accessories at Zain-ul-Abideen Family Park. All works are located within TMC Saddar jurisdiction in District South, Karachi.
The procurement is open to eligible contractors registered with relevant authorities. All bids shall be submitted in accordance with SPPRA Rules 2010 (as amended). Bidders are required to furnish bid security as per the tender requirements and possess necessary technical qualifications and experience in similar works. Bidders must comply with all regulatory requirements of the Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority.
Bidding documents are available from the Parks & Recreation Department, TMC Saddar, Karachi. Bids shall be submitted using the National Competitive Bidding procedure with single stage one envelope system as per SPPRA 15(B). The Procurement Committee comprising the Superintending Engineer (M&E) as Chairman, Assistant Accounts Officer as Secretary/Member, and an external member from Public Health Engineering will evaluate all bids.
