Description / Scope of Work
The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) is inviting sealed bids for two separate construction and maintenance projects in Lahore, Punjab. The first project involves clearance and construction of barbed wire fencing around a public utility site located at Block AA, Sector D, Bahria Town Lahore, with an estimated cost of Rs. 1,487,860 plus 5% PST, bringing the total to Rs. 1,562,252. The scope includes providing and fixing barbed wire fencing with four horizontal and two cross wires, installation of reinforced concrete cement posts at specified intervals, and placement of three sign boards measuring 6 feet by 4 feet. The second project is repair and maintenance of Street No. 4, Block E/2 and patch work at Ali Ibn-e-Talib Road, Johar Town, Lahore, with an estimated cost of Rs. 4,308,561 plus 16% PST totaling Rs. 4,997,931. This project includes dismantling of existing PCC and road metalling, construction of base course, bituminous priming and tack coats, two-inch plant pre-mixed carpet installation, traffic lane marking, and raising of manholes and gully chambers.
Prospective contractors must submit an earnest money deposit equal to the specified amount for each tender, calculated as a percentage of the estimated cost. Interested bidders must be properly registered and possess relevant construction licenses. The bid documents and detailed specifications are available for download from the issuing authority. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes on or before the closing date of June 29, 2026, with opening scheduled thereafter. The first project has a completion time limit of one month, while the street repair project must be completed within fifteen days of award.
For the Bahria Town fence project, bid documents may be obtained from the office of the Chief Engineer-I at LDA, Lahore. All bids should include contractor details, rates for each line item, and amounts calculated in both figures and words. Contractors must sign and stamp all bid documents prior to submission. Inquiries regarding specifications, site conditions, or tender procedures should be directed to the office of the Chief Engineer-I, LDA, Lahore. The authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning reasons.
