Description / Scope of Work
Heavy Industries Taxila, operating under Pakistan's defence industrial base, invites sealed bids for the procurement of welding accessories, tools and equipment comprising 51 individual line items. This tender is issued by the Supply Chain Management Directorate of HIT Taxila under PPRA and MoDP procurement rules on a Fixed-Price (FOR) basis. The delivery period is two months following contract signature. Bidders must possess a valid National Tax Number (NTN) and Sales Tax Registration where applicable. Eligible participants include manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors and suppliers that meet the prescribed eligibility criteria detailed in the Standard Bidding Document.
Bidders must demonstrate prior experience executing contracts with government or semi-government organizations within the last three financial years and provide documentary evidence thereof. Required submission documents include photocopies of registration or pre-qualification letters from HIT, DGP, MoDP or government bodies; attested Sales Tax and NTN certificates; audited financial statements for the preceding three years; attested bank statements for one year; attested CNIC of the chief executive or director; trade links with the original equipment manufacturer in case of distributors; a statutory declaration on judicial paper (worth Rs 100) that the firm is neither blacklisted, suspended nor debarred by any government organization; and postal order of Rs 2000 in favour of the Director, SCM Directorate.
Bid documents are available on the PPRA website. Sealed technical and financial proposals must be submitted separately by 1030 hours on 21 August 2026 at the Supply Chain Management Directorate, HIT Taxila Cantt. Public bid opening will commence at 1100 hours on the same date.
