The International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) at the University of Karachi invites sealed tenders from EPADS registered vendors and suppliers for the purchase of scientific equipment under the project titled 'Establishment of National Reference Laboratory'. This procurement is being conducted on a FOB basis using the Single Stage One Envelope procedure in accordance with Sindh Procurement Rules. The tender notice is published in major Pakistani newspapers including Dawn, Jang, and Kawish, indicating the significance and transparency of this academic research infrastructure project located in Karachi, Sindh Province.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Sindh Revenue Board and the relevant Income Tax authorities. Vendors can participate either directly or through the EPADS (E-Procurement and Acquisition Disposal System) platform. Bidders are required to submit earnest money equivalent to two percent of their bid value in the form of a pay order made in favor of the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences Tender Account. A non-refundable tender fee of Rs 1,000 must be deposited in United Bank Limited Account No 1146-291497301 titled 'International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences Tender Account', with the original deposit slip submitted alongside the bid.
Bidding documents can be obtained or downloaded from the EPADS portal (www.portalsindh.eprocure.gov.pk) or the ICCBS website (www.iccbs.edu.pk). Sealed bids with signed and stamped documents along with earnest money must be submitted through EPADS by 30 June 2026 at 11:30 AM. The tender will be opened on 30 June 2026 at 12:00 Noon through EPADS. The original Bid Security Pay Order must reach the Purchase Department of ICCBS before the submission deadline.
