Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, invites quotations for the supply and installation of 15 iron shelves (M.S Shelf) under RFQ-003798 - PR-0009043. The shelves are specified as mild steel construction with dimensions of 15.5 feet width by 1.5 feet height, 18 gauge thickness, featuring 1 inch angle support throughout the base and 3 numbers of 1 inch rod supports from the top. The items must include red oxide and oil paint finish with professional installation as per an approved sample. Delivery is required at the Stores, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, Sindh. The scope covers final inspection at delivery, with the supplier bound by quality specifications and timeline commitments as outlined in the procurement terms.
Quotations are invited from eligible suppliers capable of meeting the specified material standards and delivery requirements. Payment will be made through crossed cheque upon receipt of invoice and delivery of items. Bidders should note that liquidity damages at the rate of 2 percent per month will be imposed on delayed delivery. General Sales Tax will apply to applicable items, and government taxes, levies and charges will be applied as per statutory rates. Stamp duty of 0.35 percent on the total purchase order value will be levied accordingly. Advance payment is subject to bank guarantee.
The submission deadline for quotations is 17 June 2026 at 11:00 AM. Interested suppliers should contact the Purchase Department, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, at telephone number 021-38104700, extension 2156. The rate quoted is final with no changes accepted. IBA reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation, cancel items, or award to the lowest responsive bidder. Invoices must be submitted to the Purchase Department upon completion of delivery.
