Description / Scope of Work
The Metropolitan Corporation Lahore, through its Office of the Chief Officer, invites sealed bids for the auction of condemned and unserviceable vehicles, articles, machinery, asphalt plant equipment, tyres, batteries, flexes, banners, streamers, frames (iron or wooden), iron drums (tarcoal) and scrap materials. The auction is being conducted in Lahore, Punjab, with inspection facilities available at the Asphalt Plant situated at Outfall Road near Ring Road Interchange, as well as at Lakhocair Landfill Site and Town Hall Headquarter. All auction materials will be sold on an as-is-where-is basis at Multiple designated Metropolitan Corporation sites across the city.
Bidders and contractors must provide copies of their Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) and current office addresses along with contact details. Open auction with offers will commence at 10 percent earnest money against each vehicle, item or lot, with bids submitted via Pay Order, Demand Draft or CDR in favour of Chief Officer Metropolitan Corporation Lahore. Security money must be deposited before participation. The successful bidder is required to pay a deposit of 25 percent of the announced bid amount on the spot, with the remaining balance due within ten official working days. Removal of purchased vehicles must be completed within fifteen days of full payment, failing which deposited security money will be forfeited.
The open auction will be held at 11:00 AM on 30 June 2026 at Rose Garden, Town Hall, Lower Mall Road, Lahore. All prevailing government taxes and levied taxes imposed by the Government of Punjab will be charged separately and recovered in addition to the bid amount.
