Description / Scope of Work
Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur, through its Directorate of Finance, invites sealed bids from reputed and established firms, suppliers, contractors, and vendors registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax authorities for the hiring of buses and transport fleet dedicated to student pick and drop services. The estimated annual cost is Rs 130.00 million with a contract period of one year, extendable for a further two years on mutually agreed terms. This procurement is open to individual route rate basis applications and is based in Khairpur, Sindh province.
Eligible bidders must be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax authorities as active filers, possess at least five years of business or service experience in the relevant transportation field, demonstrate an annual turnover exceeding Rs 3.00 million for each route with proportionate figures for multiple routes during the last three years, provide affidavits confirming the person or contracting firm is not blacklisted, and submit affidavits certifying non-engagement in litigation with any executing agency. The bid security requirement is 2 percent of the quoted bid value, and all bids must be submitted in a single stage, one envelope format.
Bidding documents are available for download from SPPRA/SALU websites or may be obtained by submitting a written request on firm letterhead during office working hours upon payment of Rs 3,000 (non-refundable, non-transferable) as tender document cost in the form of a PO/DD Bank Guarantee favoring Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur from the Store and Purchase Officer at the Old National Highway, Khairpur (telephone 0243-9200852). Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS on or before the submission deadline of 07-07-2026 at 11:00 A.M., with bid opening scheduled for the same date at 11:30 A.M. The Directorate of Finance reserves the right to accept or reject any bid subject to Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 provisions.
