Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO) invites sealed e-bids for distribution of electricity bills for a period of two years from July 2026 to June 2028. The tender encompasses distribution services across multiple divisions and sub-divisions within MEPCO's operational area in Punjab province, including Cantt, Multan, City, B.Z.I. Niska Pak, S.R. Alam, and Shujabad divisions. The contract value ranges from Rs. 4,000,000 to Rs. 5,000,000 depending on the division. The procurement aims to ensure satisfactory performance under MEPCO's jurisdiction through a transparent and competitive bidding process. All interested courier firms and contractors having experience in bill distribution are invited to participate.
Eligible bidders must be registered with Punjab Revenue Authority and maintain active taxpayer status with the FBR. Contractors are required to provide a bid security of Rs. 4,000,000 to Rs. 5,000,000 as specified for each tender, issued by a scheduled bank of Pakistan in the form of a bank guarantee or deposit at call. Bidders must confirm they are not involved in litigation and are not blacklisted by any company or government department. Valid CNIC and contact information are mandatory. The submission procedure follows the Single Stage, Two Envelope bidding process as per PPRA Rules 2004.
Bid documents are available for registered bidders on EPADs portal (www.eproc.gov.pk). Bidders must register themselves on EPADs and submit bids electronically on or before 07.07.2026. Bid submission times vary by division, ranging from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, with opening scheduled for the same day between 11:30 am and 1:00 pm. The Superintending Engineer at MEPCO Circle Multan will conduct the tender opening.
