Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) invites tenders for hiring one (01) air-conditioned vehicle of 1300 cc engine capacity, model 2021 or newer, on a rental basis for a period of twelve months. The vehicle is required to support the PSDP Project titled Gene Editing of Biological Agents for Nutritional Biochemical and Therapeutic Purpose at PCSIR Labs Complex in Lahore, Federal territory. The contract will be on a rate-running and as-and-when-required basis, with the option to extend on mutual consent and agreement. PCSIR reserves the right to increase, terminate, or modify the contract duration as per operational requirements.
Eligible bidders must be registered on the Electronic Procurement and Auction Delivery System (EPADS) platform at https://eprocure.gov.pk/#/supplier/registration. The contractor must have a minimum of one year's experience in providing vehicle rental services to Government or public sector organizations and must not be a defaulter or blacklisted by any Government agency. The bidding procedure follows a Single Stage Single Envelope format. The contract may be terminated with thirty days' notice if services are no longer required or if the contractor fails to comply with terms and instructions from the location in-charge.
Interested bidders must submit their tender documents through EPADS to the Director (Procurement) at PCSIR Head Office, Islamabad. All proposals should clearly specify the monthly rental rate and total annual rent for the vehicle. The tender enquiry aims to procure reliable transportation for research and administrative activities related to the gene editing project at PCSIR Lahore.
