Cantonment Board Peshawar invites bids from the general public and business persons, particularly parking stand contractors, for the rights to collect parking fees from eleven designated parking stands located throughout Peshawar Cantonment. The contract period is three years, commencing from 15th August 2026 through 14th August 2029. The auction will be held on Thursday, 6th July 2026 at 11:00 AM at the office of Cantonment Board Peshawar, KPK. The parking stands under auction include Hakim Ullah Jan Road, Excise Office, Dabgari Garden, Shafi Market, Islamia Road, Jan's Bakers, Cantt Mall Basement, Cycle Mandi, Number Plate Plaza Basement, Commercial Complex Basement, and Soekarno Square Stand, with security deposits ranging from 01 to 30 lakh rupees.
Eligible bidders must submit a Call Deposit from any bank in favor of the Cantonment Executive Officer Peshawar, along with valid CNIC, Registration, or NTN documentation, at least two days before the auction date. The successful bidder must deposit one-quarter of the bid amount on the spot and is required to submit income tax deposits within seven days of final approval. Monthly installments of the bid amount are due by the 5th of each month, and late payment incurs a fine of Rs. 5,000 per month. Bidders are prohibited from employing non-local, unregistered, or Afghan national labor. The contract cannot be sublet or transferred without Cantonment Board approval, and defaulters of government institutions are barred from participation.
The parking fee rates are fixed at 100 rupees for cars and 50 rupees for motorcycles. Bidders must display approved rate boards at parking stands and submit receipt samples within seven days of contract approval. Overcharging attracts a penalty of Rs. 10,000 per instance, and five continuous violations result in contract suspension. The successful bidder must complete parking fee collection operations at their own expense within seven days of executive officer approval.
