Description / Scope of Work
The Government of Gilgit Baltistan, through the Office of the Project Director, invites sealed bids from eligible manufacturers, firms, and authorized distributors for the procurement of nine categories of biomedical equipment for the establishment of a 50 bedded cardiac hospital at Gilgit under PSPD funding. The equipment to be procured includes Intra Vascular Ultrasound System (IVUS), Heart Lung Machine, Rotational Atherectomy System (Rotablator), Pacemaker Programmer, OCT Machine, ABG Analyzer, CPR Machine, Suction Machine Heavy Duty, and Oxygen Concentrator. This procurement is being conducted under Single Stage Two Envelop Bidding Procedure as per GB PPRA Rules 2022, with separate bid submission and opening schedules for each equipment category scheduled between 7th and 8th July 2026.
Eligible bidders must be manufacturers, firms, or their authorized distributors and are required to provide an affidavit confirming no involvement in litigation and non-blacklisting by any government agency. All bids must be accompanied by bid security equivalent to 3% of the quoted bid price, which shall form part of the financial bid. Bids shall be submitted in a single sealed envelope containing two separately sealed envelopes marked Technical Bid and Financial Bid. Technical bids will be opened on the scheduled dates with financial bids of only technically responsive and qualified bidders opened at a later date.
Interested bidders may acquire complete bid documents by written request to the Office of Project Director, 2nd Floor, Cardiac Hospital, Jutial, Gilgit, upon payment of Rs. 20,000 (non-refundable) by 6th July 2026 during office hours. Courier delivery is available at Rs. 1,500 charged to the applicant, though the employer is not responsible for late delivery or loss. Bids must be delivered by hand or registered mail to the specified address not later than the dates and times specified for each equipment category. The Procuring Agency reserves the right to verify any submitted information and reject any or all bids in accordance with Rule 33 of GB PPRA Rules 2022.
