For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
Framework contract for supply of IOL and related kits to a provincial health facility over one financial year. Estimated value Rs 18 lakh with item-wise ordering flexibility suggests moderate recurring demand. Eligibility is narrow—manufacturers or authorized distributors only, requiring DRAP/FDA registration, which filters out trading wholesalers. The 2% bid security and digital submission via E-PS add procedural friction; ensure PSID is generated and bank deposit proof uploaded before 08:30 a.m. on closing date to avoid non-responsive rejection. Early document download recommended given regulatory complexity.
Who can bid: Bidders must be manufacturers registered with E-PS, or sole agents/distributors of foreign principals. Current registrations from PPRA, DRAP, and FDA mandatory. Blacklisted firms by PPRA or SSH Jauharabad excluded. Typically, bidders must hold valid NTN, active SECP/provincial registration, and clean tax compliance history.
