Heavy Mechanical Complex Limited, a Government of Pakistan enterprise based in Taxila, Punjab, invites sealed quotations for the procurement of welding electrodes and industrial machine chucks on Free Delivery to HMC basis. Three separate tender enquiries are issued under references RRC/MW-26-002, RRC/MW-26-003, and LPA-26-044A for the financial year 2025-26. The first tender covers stainless steel welding electrodes including SS-E308, SS-E309, and SS-E316 grades in various diameters (2.6mm to 4mm) with total quantities ranging from 500 to 1000 kilograms per grade. The second tender solicits supply of carbon steel electrodes E7018 and E6013 in multiple sizes from 1.6mm to 5mm diameter, with quantities ranging from 1000 to 40000 kilograms. The third tender enquiry seeks Four Jaws Chuck Ø350mm and Three Jaws Chuck Ø250mm (China origin), 2 units each. All procurement is on as-and-when-required basis during the contract period from 1st July 2026 to 30th June 2027, with delivery in Taxila, Punjab.
Bidders must be registered with relevant taxation authorities and hold valid Sales Tax Registration and National Tax Numbers. A non-refundable tender fee of Rs 1,500 in the form of Crossed Demand Draft or CDR payable to MD-HMC must accompany each quotation. Bid Security at 2 percent of the total quoted value is mandatory for tenders exceeding Rs 500,000. All electrodes must be vacuum-packed, delivered in pallets of 01 ton, and accompanied by original brochures and third-party approval certificates from manufacturers. Samples of each electrode type (4mm diameter, 05kg sealed pack) and Material Test Certificates must be provided with quotations. Supplies must comply with AWS-AS.1 or ASME Section II, Part-C, SFA.1 standards. The offer validity period should not be less than 30 days, and delivery must be completed within maximum 10 days of order placement.
Sealed bids must reach the Head of Supply Chain Management Department at HMC Taxila by 14:00 hours on 01 July 2026 for public opening at 14:30 hours on the same date.
