Description / Scope of Work
THQ Hospital Gujar Khan invites sealed electronic bids for the local purchase of medicines, surgical disposables and allied items on a day-to-day basis for the financial year 2026-27. The estimated budget is Rs 10,500,000 with a bid security of Rs 525,000. This tender covers supply of medicines to institutional and retail pharmacies, wholesale pharmacies and registered drug stores throughout the financial year. The procurement is being conducted by the Medical Superintendent at THQ Hospital Gujar Khan, located in Punjab province. Bidders must be active taxpayers on the Active Taxpayer List maintained by the Federal Board of Revenue and must be registered on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal portal (e-PADS).
Eligibility requires bidders to hold valid Drug Sale Licenses and relevant registration certificates from appropriate authorities. Bidding is open to multinational companies, national companies and surgical items suppliers. The tender follows Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 and will be conducted under Open Competitive Bidding using a Single Stage Two Envelope procedure. Award will be made in accordance with Clause XI of the Policy and Operational Guidelines for Local Purchase of Medicines, with maximum discount on MRP or Trade Price basis. Bid security must be submitted as an original Bank Guarantee or Scheduled Bank of Pakistan instrument in favour of the Medical Superintendent.
Bidding documents are available for free download from the e-PADS Portal at https://etendering.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted electronically through e-PADS only, with manual bids not accepted. The bid opening date and time is 06-07-2026 at 11:00 AM in the presence of bidder representatives. Technical bids will be opened on 06-07-2026 at 11:00 AM. All bidders are required to upload bid documents and submit bids before the closing deadline.
