Description / Scope of Work
Tehsil Head Quarter Level Hospital & Trauma Centre Fateh Pur, located in District Layyah, Punjab, invites online bids through the EPADS platform for a framework contract covering the financial year 2026-27. The procurement encompasses nine distinct lots with a combined estimated value of approximately 17.5 million Pakistani rupees, including medicine and surgical disposable items for local purchase (4.0 million), dialysis medicines (2.0 million), pathology laboratory items (4.0 million), dental materials and instruments (1.0 million), general store items (2.0 million), bedding and clothing (1.0 million), stationery items (0.5 million), medical gases (1.0 million), and printing items (2.0 million). The contract is being executed under the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 as amended.
Bidders must be eligible Income Tax, GST, and PST filers registered as partnerships, sole proprietors, firms, or companies. A bid security equivalent to 2 percent of the estimated cost for each lot is required in the form of a CDR, pay order, or demand draft from a scheduled bank of Pakistan, valid for 180 days. Original bid securities must be submitted on or before the closing deadline. Bidders are required to possess active NTN registration and valid sales tax and provincial sales tax certificates. The hospital reserves the right to reject any or all bids at any time prior to acceptance without justification.
Bidding documents are available free of cost from the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk and through the EPADS portal at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. All bids must be uploaded on EPADS on or before 2 July 2026 at 10:00 AM, with technical bid opening scheduled for 10:30 AM on the same date at the office of the Medical Superintendent. Evaluation will be conducted on a lot-wise basis with the contract awarded to bidders offering the lowest rates. A performance guarantee of 5 percent of the contract value is required from the successful bidder.
