Description / Scope of Work
The Superintending Engineer Building Circle Bahawalpur, Punjab Buildings Department, invites pre-qualification applications from contractors through the EPADS (E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System) for completion of balance work for operationalization of the Thalassemia unit and Bone Marrow Transplant Centre at B.V. Hospital in Bahawalpur. This is a C-3 category construction project with an approximate cost of 255.598 million Pakistani rupees. The scope includes all finishing and operationalization works required to bring the medical facility to functional status. The project falls under Government of Punjab notification S&GAD No. SO(I&C)5-4/2024/858/AS(A) dated 09.05.2024.
Eligible contractors must be renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council for the year 2025-26 and possess specialization codes CE10, ME01, ME03, EE04, or EE05. Applicants must have demonstrated experience executing works of similar nature in the public sector. All pre-qualification documents must be submitted electronically on EPADS; manual submissions will not be accepted. Interested firms must first register on the EPADS portal to become eligible for participation. The last date for submission of pre-qualification documents on EPADS is 02 July 2026. Applicants can obtain clarifications and information through the EPADS portal. The evaluation committee reserves the right to pre-qualify or reject any or all applications based on evaluation criteria prescribed under PPRA Rules 2014 with up-to-date amendments. Only pre-qualified contractors will be invited to participate in the subsequent tender process.
