Description / Scope of Work
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites qualified firms, organizations, and non-governmental organizations to submit technical and financial proposals for professional services aimed at strengthening the enabling environment for sustainable biomass energy and operationalization of PASBET (Pakistan Sustainable Biomass Energy and Technology) pilot demonstration units in Pakistan. The project is identified under reference UNDP-PAK-01645 and encompasses comprehensive support for establishing and managing biomass energy demonstration facilities across the country. This engagement seeks to support Pakistan's transition toward renewable and sustainable biomass energy solutions through capacity building, technical expertise, and operational support for pilot units.
Prospective proposers must be registered with the UNDP Quantum supplier portal system to submit their bids. Organizations must meet standard UNDP organizational and financial compliance requirements and demonstrate relevant experience in sustainable energy projects, biomass technology implementation, and demonstration unit management. All proposals must include both technical and financial components in accordance with UNDP General Conditions of Contract and the detailed Terms of Reference provided in the tender documents.
