Description / Scope of Work
The Lahore Development Authority invites sealed bids for repair and maintenance of two road projects in Lahore, Punjab. The first project involves repair and maintenance of Madar-e Millat Road from Pindi Stop to Hamdard Chowk, Township, Lahore, with an estimated cost of Rs. 4,287,025 plus 16% PST (total Rs. 4,972,949). The second project covers repair and maintenance of Service Road Block A, New Muslim Town, parallel to Canal Bank Road, Lahore, with an estimated cost of Rs. 4,209,500 plus 16% PST (total Rs. 4,883,020). Both projects include cold milling of asphalt layers, laying of tack coat, bituminous carpeting with plant mixed asphalt wearing course, traffic lane marking with thermoplastic paint, provision and laying of sub-base course, tuff pavers installation, edge kerb stone provision and refixing, and related ancillary works to achieve specified quality and compaction standards.
Contractors must submit earnest money as specified for each project: Rs. 248,647 for Madar-e Millat Road project and Rs. 244,151 for Service Road Block A project. Bidders are required to hold valid registration with relevant authorities and possess necessary equipment and skilled workforce for road construction and repair works. All work must be completed within one month from contract award date, with execution to be carried out as per specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Bid documents are available from the Lahore Development Authority office. Sealed bids must be submitted to the specified LDA office by the deadline as mentioned in the tender notice. Bids will be opened on the scheduled date in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
