Standing Trees Auction by Horticulture Agency Gujranwala

The Horticulture Agency Gujranwala, Punjab, invites sealed bids for the public auction of standing trees comprising Safeda and Kikar species affected by the GT Road Meter Project. The trees are located on both sides of GT Road in Gujranwala, specifically in the Green Belts area near Aibandha and Forester Geo Teri DC Colony. The auction is conducted on an as-is-where-is basis, with the successful bidder required to fell, remove, and transport the timber at their own cost within seven days of payment. The auction will take place on July 8, 2026, at 12:30 PM at the Nursery, GT Road, Gujranwala, with alternate auction dates scheduled for July 16 and July 22, 2026, if the initial auction is unsuccessful.

Eligibility criteria require all bidders to submit a refundable earnest money deposit of 150,501 Pakistani Rupees in the form of a CDR (Call Deposit Receipt) from any scheduled bank, along with a photocopy of their National Identity Card. The deposit must be submitted before 12:00 PM on the auction day. Bidders are required to conduct a thorough inspection of the trees before participation. The Managing Director of the Horticulture Agency Gujranwala reserves the authority to cancel any bid without providing reasons.

The successful bidder assumes full responsibility for any damage to walls, pipelines, roads, and electric wires during tree felling and removal. The bidder must also appoint a representative to protect the timber after the auction and comply with all applicable government taxes and levies. Bid documents and detailed terms and conditions are available at the Horticulture Agency office. All disputes and matters not covered in the tender conditions fall under the authority's discretion. Bidders previously involved in legal proceedings with the agency are ineligible to participate.
