Description / Scope of Work
The Rice Research Institute, Kala Shah Kaku, located on the G.T. Road in Lahore, Punjab, invites sealed bids for the procurement of a solar system under National Competitive Bidding. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is referenced as RRI-10-2026 (23-377) and follows a Single Stage-one Envelope bidding process. The procurement aims to supply and install a solar system at the Institute's facilities in Lahore district, with the tender issued in June 2026 by the Agriculture Department of Punjab, Pakistan.
Bidders must be technically and financially qualified vendors with experience in solar system supply and installation. Bidders are required to submit bid security as specified in the Bid Data Sheet and Items List section of the bidding document. All bidders must provide undertakings regarding the correctness of information submitted and their non-blacklisting status. Manufacturer's authorization forms and litigation history certificates are mandatory annexures to the bid submission. Bidders must comply with all technical specifications outlined in Part-I Section IV of the document.

The Grievance Redressal Committee, chaired by Neelam Shahzadi (Principal Scientist), will address any disputes or concerns. Interested bidders should review all sections including technical specifications, contract forms, general conditions, and special conditions of contract before submission.
