This is a turnkey 200 kW grid-tied solar installation for a government education board. The project involves complete system design, installation, commissioning and two-year warranty plus operations and maintenance. Bidders should note the August 2026 deadline allows reasonable preparation time. The notice emphasizes net metering compliance and international quality standards, suggesting the client expects premium-grade equipment and rigorous technical compliance. This is a one-off capital project rather than recurring supply contract, suitable for established solar contractors with prior grid-connected system experience and relevant certifications.
Who can bid: Bidders must typically be registered with SECP (for private firms), hold valid NTN from FBR, and possess PEC registration if classified as engineering contractors. Prior experience in grid-tied solar installations is required. The notice does not explicitly state PEC category requirements but this is typical for such energy infrastructure work in Pakistan.
