Description / Scope of Work
The Bank of Punjab, headquartered in Lahore, Punjab, invites sealed bids for the renewal of virtualization VMware licenses as part of its information technology infrastructure modernization. This procurement is conducted through the Centralized Procurement Department following PPRA single-stage two-envelope bidding procedures. The estimated project cost is Rs. 60,000,000, and bids must be submitted exclusively through the E-Pads portal. Bidders are required to provide comprehensive technical details including support during the warranty period and must ensure VMware license activation within one to two weeks following purchase order issuance. All quoted prices must be in USD and include applicable taxes such as GST and income tax, with costs inclusive of delivery and installation at designated sites throughout Pakistan.
Bidders must possess the technical capability to deliver VMware virtualization license renewals meeting the specifications outlined in Schedule-A of the bidding documents. A call deposit of two percent (2%) of the estimated cost, equivalent to Rs. 1,200,000, must be submitted as bid security in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) issued by a scheduled bank operating in Pakistan. The bid security envelope must be addressed to the Head of Centralized Procurement at the Bank's Head Office in Gulberg III, Lahore. Bids failing to comply with technical specifications, delivery periods, or containing alternative proposals will be rejected as non-responsive. The bid validity period is ninety days from the closing date, and failure to supply within stipulated timeframes will result in penalty enforcement and forfeiture of bid security.
Bid submission must occur through the E-Pads portal with physical delivery of bid security documents to the office of the Head Centralized Procurement, 1st Floor, BOP Tower, 10-B Block E/II, Main Boulevard, Gulberg III, Lahore, on or before July 7, 2026 by 11:00 AM. Technical bids will be opened on the same date at 11:30 AM. Bidders should direct all inquiries to the Centralized Procurement Department at telephone number 042-35774009. The Bank reserves the right to modify bidding documents prior to the submission deadline and may extend the deadline to afford bidders reasonable time to incorporate amendments. Complete bidding documents including Schedule-B Price Schedule must be obtained from the Bank's procurement portal.
