The Office of the Postmaster General, Metropolitan Circle, Karachi, invites electronic bids for the disposal of three old and used vehicles through public auction on the PPRA Portal E-PADS version 2.0 system on an as-is basis. The auction encompasses a Hino Truck (111 HP, 1986 model) with reserved price of Rs. 400,000, a Shehzoor Truck (2600 CC, 2008 model) with reserved price of Rs. 600,000, and a Nissan Single Cabin (2500 CC, 1986 model) with reserved price of Rs. 150,000. The vehicles will be available for inspection at Mail Motor Service, C.T.O Compound, I.I. Chundrigar Road, Karachi during official working hours from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM. Closing date and time for submission of bids is 6 July 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bids to be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM at the office of the Postmaster General, Metropolitan Circle, Clifton, Karachi.
Bidders must be registered on the PPRA E-PADS v2.0 portal and are required to upload their National Identity Card, provide complete present address and active telephone number. It is mandatory to deposit 10% of the reserve price as bidder registration fee in the form of bank draft, pay order, or postal order payable to the Postmaster General, Metropolitan Circle, Karachi. The successful bidder must deposit 50% payment of the total bid amount within three days of auction approval, with the remaining amount payable upon acceptance. All existing government taxes at prescribed rates shall be charged in addition to the bid amount.
Upon receipt of full payment, a transfer letter will be issued in the name of the successful bidder and relevant documents handed over for vehicle registration and ownership transfer. The successful bidder is responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, fees, and charges payable to the Motor Registration Authority. Vehicles must be lifted within three days of purchase, after which deposited amounts will be forfeited without notice. The procuring agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bid proposals in accordance with PPRA Rules-33 of 2004.
