Sealed Wheat Stock Disposal by Commodity Management Department Balochistan

The Commodity Management Department, Government of Balochistan, invites sealed competitive bids for the disposal of approximately 20,886 metric tonnes of sealed wheat stock currently lying in rice mills and grain merchant warehouses across District Usta Muhammad in Balochistan province. This is a one-time auction of Government of Pakistan wheat reserves, conducted on behalf of the department to liquidate stored grain holdings. The auction will be conducted on an "As-is, Where-is" basis through open competitive bidding subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the auction notice.

Bidders must be flour mills, grain merchants, or other manufacturers who ordinarily deal in grain commodities. Eligibility requires that bidders possess valid CNIC, NTN, Sales Tax Registration, or equivalent documentary evidence as mandated by Government procurement rules. A bid security of Rs. 20.00 per metric tonne, payable via crossed cheque or bank draft, must accompany the bid. The benchmark reserve price is fixed at Rs. 3500 per kilogram as determined by the Federal Government. Release and delivery of wheat will be supervised by the authorized Release Committee in the presence of representatives of the successful purchaser.

Bid documents may be obtained from the office during normal business hours. Bids must be submitted by 13-08-2026 at 2.00 pm, with opening scheduled to follow immediately thereafter. Bidders should inspect wheat stock at the sealed rice mills during office hours before submitting offers. The Commodity Management Department reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, wholly or partially, without assigning reasons.
