Description / Scope of Work
The Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Islamabad, invites open auction on an as-is-where-is basis for the disposal of unserviceable and surplus items and goods. The auction includes a comprehensive range of office equipment and furniture comprising tables, wooden chairs, sofas (single, two, and three seater), steel cabinets, steel almirahs, tyre, toner cartridges, fax machine, laptops, and photocopier machines. Items have been received from the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, NPGP, EDU, and STP. The total inventory includes approximately 120 items across multiple categories. This auction is conducted in Islamabad, the capital city, under the supervision of the Disposal Committee of the Ministry. The tender reference number is 7-13/2025.
Participants applying through E-PAD are required to submit a pay order or demand draft of three percent (refundable) of the estimated value in favour of the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Islamabad for participation in the auction. All bids must be placed on E-PAD and the original payment instrument submitted to the Section Officer (General) at the Ministry. Sale shall be made to the bidder offering the highest price, and any disputes between bidders shall be decided by the Grievance Committee whose decision will be binding on both parties. The successful bidder must be eligible to participate through E-PAD and comply with all government procurement regulations.
Disposable and unserviceable materials can be inspected and verified in the Storeroom of the Ministry from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on any working day during office hours. The auction will commence on 6 July 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. The successful bidder must deposit 25 percent of the total auctioned amount on the same day and the remaining amount within three days. All items must be removed within three working days from the date of sale; failure to do so will result in a 10 percent penalty on the total value.
