National Bank of Pakistan invites bids for the operation and maintenance services of two passenger lifts installed at the NBP ex-NDFC building located on Tariq Road in Karachi, Sindh. This is a three-year contract tenure for comprehensive lift management services including daily operations, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and technical support. The scope of services encompasses operational management during specified working hours, routine maintenance on a weekly and monthly schedule, annual servicing, and 24/7 emergency technical support to ensure continuous lift availability and safety compliance.
Eligible bidders must be registered lift operation and maintenance service providers with relevant experience in managing commercial passenger lifts. Bidders are required to submit a bid security in the form of a bank guarantee as specified in the bid documents. The bid must be accompanied by notarized power of attorney for the authorized signatory, non-blacklisted affidavit, and detailed technical credentials demonstrating the company's capacity to provide uninterrupted maintenance services throughout the contract period.
Complete bidding documents including the scope of services, frequency of maintenance schedules, lift equipment specifications, standard bid forms, and general and special conditions of contract are available for submission through the PPRA's E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) portal. All bids must be submitted electronically on the EPADS portal before the bid closing date. Bid opening will be conducted as per PPRA Rule 36(a), and bids will be evaluated based on technical responsiveness and financial competitiveness.
