Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer, Charsadda Irrigation Division, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites electronic bids from eligible firms and contractors for the construction of multiple flood protection works and irrigation infrastructure projects across central districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Swabi, Mardan, Charsadda, Peshawar and Nowshera during the fiscal year 2025-26. The procurement encompasses 26 major works with estimated costs ranging from approximately 4.95 million to 293.52 million Pakistani rupees, including canal patrol roads, flood protection structures along various rivers and tributaries such as the Swat River, Jindi River, Hisara Drain, Marwandi Nullah, Adezai River, and Dab Drain, irrigation channels, and side wall constructions across multiple union councils and villages in Charsadda and adjacent districts.
All bidders are required to have valid registration with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority and must submit bids on a no-below basis according to BOQ or Engineer's estimate. Bid security equivalent to two percent of the estimated cost for each work must be submitted as per KPPRA rules 2014. Category-specific specialization codes are required ranging from CE-01 to CE-04, with different category levels (C-3 through C-6 and above) depending on the project scope and estimated value. Eligible contractors must possess appropriate licenses and technical qualifications as specified in the bidding documents.
Bid solicitation documents containing all terms, conditions, and relevant instructions are available for download from the Department website at www.irrigation.gkp.pk and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority website at www.kppra.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted electronically to the Head Clerk, Office of Executive Engineer, Charsadda Irrigation Division, Mardan Road, Charsadda on or before 08-07-2026 up to 2:00 PM. The pre-bid meeting will be held on 01-07-2026 at 11:00 AM in the office of the undersigned. Electronic bids will be opened on the same day at 02:30 PM. All Government notifications, rules, and taxes applicable from time to time shall be observed.
