Description / Scope of Work
The Local Government and Rural Development Department Abbottabad invites sealed tenders for uplifting and beautification activities at fifteen union councils in the Abbottabad district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The project covers Union Councils Dalola, Boi, Kokmang, Pattan Kalan, Birote, Gari Phulgran, Namli Maira, Tajwal, Lora, Goreeni, Langrial, Nara, Langra, Kokal, Jhangra, and Bandi Attai Khan. The estimated project cost is 49.93 million Pakistani rupees, with the tender advertised through the Electronic Procurement and Auction Development System (EPADS) on a Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure basis.
Eligible contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in PEC Category C-5 and above, and must be enlisted with the Construction and Works Department in accordance with the Centralized Enlistment Policy of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the current financial year. A bid security of 998,600 Pakistani rupees (2 percent of the estimated cost) is required in the form of a call deposit made in favor of the Assistant Director, LG&RDD Abbottabad. The bid security must be prepared after publication of the Notice Inviting Tender and before the bid closing time.
Bid solicitation documents may be downloaded from the EPADS website. Contractors must submit both technical and financial bids through EPADS, with physical copies of technical and financial proposals sent to the Office of Assistant Director, Link Road, Near Sarban Chowk, Abbottabad via registered courier service before the bid submission deadline of 9 July 2026 at 12:30 PM. Technical bids will be evaluated first, and financial bids of only technically responsive and qualified bidders will be opened on 9 July 2026 at 2:00 PM in the presence of bidders or their representatives. The last date for online clarifications is 2 July 2026. Bids remain valid for 120 days from the closing date.
