Description / Scope of Work
The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Irrigation Department, Warsak Canals Division Peshawar invites electronic bids for the construction of flood protection works, irrigation channels, check dams and canal patrol roads across central districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Peshawar, Swabi, Mardan, Charsadda and Nowshera under ADP project 2132/251497 for the fiscal year 2025-26. The overall project scope encompasses nine distinct sub-works with an estimated total cost ranging from Rs. 3.857 million to Rs. 82.177 million per component, protecting agricultural lands, residential communities and critical infrastructure from flood hazards across multiple locations in the Peshawar region and surrounding districts.
Eligible contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with the requisite category and specialized codes for civil engineering works, including CE04, CE09 and CE10 classifications depending on the specific sub-work undertaken. Bidders are required to submit bid security equivalent to two percent of the estimated cost for each work package. The procurement follows the single stage single envelope bidding methodology as prescribed in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Rules 2014 and is open to eligible firms and contractors meeting the stated PEC registration requirements and work capacity limits.
Bids must be submitted electronically through the EPAD system in accordance with KPPRA guidelines. Interested contractors should obtain the detailed bid solicitation documents from the Executive Engineer, Warsak Canals Division, which contain comprehensive technical specifications, bill of quantities, drawings and conditions of contract. The bidding process follows standard procurement regulations with specific provisions for bid evaluation, submission deadlines and contract administration by the Procuring Entity.
