Karachi Port Trust is inviting proposals for kitchen catering and service management at the KPT Izhar Abbasi Hospital located in Karachi, Sindh. The Request for Proposal (RFP) No. KPT/IRW-004/2026 seeks a reputable, experienced, and financially sound catering and institutional food management firm to handle complete procurement, preparation, therapeutic dietary compliance, management, and uninterrupted year-round service delivery for the hospital kitchen. The successful bidder must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) at the time of submission. The firm will be responsible for maintaining all hygiene standards and food safety protocols as per regulatory requirements.
Eligibility requirements include possession of valid Sindh Food Authority (SFA) certification and ISO 22000 certification for food safety management systems. Bidders must have a minimum of twenty years of relevant experience in institutional or commercial food catering operations. A refundable bid security of Pakistani Rupees 200,000 (Two Hundred Thousand Only) is required in the form of a Pay Order or bank draft issued in favor of Karachi Port Trust. All bids must be prepared and compiled strictly in accordance with electronic templates and uploaded through the EPADS portal.
Bids must be submitted electronically via the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) with a submission deadline of 09-07-2026 at 10:00 Hours. The e-bid opening is scheduled for 09-07-2026 at 10:30 Hours, where combined electronic proposals will be decrypted and opened publicly through EPADS. Bidders can access the system interface through their respective EPADS accounts. Original physical instruments must be delivered to the KPT Head Office Building on Eduljee Dinshaw Road, Karachi, before the system submission deadline for verification purposes.
