Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC), a premier investment and development agency of the Government of Pakistan, invites competitive bids from well-reputed firms and companies registered on E-PNOS (Electronic Procurement System) for the supply, installation, and commissioning of a 30 kW solar power system at the PIDC Project Office Building located in Bin Qasim Industrial Park, Karachi, Sindh. The project scope encompasses complete system design, procurement of solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, wiring, and all associated components, along with professional installation, testing, and commissioning services to ensure the system operates at optimal efficiency. The bid security requirement is PKR 50,000, and the contract is targeted at firms with similar nature experience and registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-6 or above, maintaining active taxpayer status with relevant authorities. Only the most advantageous bid will be selected following comprehensive evaluation of both technical and financial proposals submitted by qualified bidders.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Engineering and Procurement Organization System (E-PNOS) and possess valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-6 or above. Bidders must be active taxpayers registered with relevant tax authorities and demonstrate prior experience with similar solar power projects. Bid security must be submitted in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), pay order, or security issued by a scheduled bank of Pakistan, foreign bank counter-guaranteed by a scheduled Pakistani bank, or an insurance company rated AA or better by PACH/VIS, in favor of Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC). The original bid security document must be submitted to PIDC before the submission deadline.

A pre-bid meeting will be conducted on 01-07-2026 at 12:00 PM at the Project Office in Bin Qasim Industrial Park (BCIP), DSIE Pakistan Steel Mill, Bin Qasim Town, Karachi, to clarify bidder queries regarding the work scope. Interested bidders must submit their bids electronically through E-PNOS on a single-stage one envelope basis on or before 13-07-2026 until 11:00 AM to the address provided in the tender document. Bids will be opened through PPRA E-PADS on the same day at 11:30 AM. Delayed, conditional, and telegraphic bids will not be entertained. All quoted prices must be inclusive of taxes.
