Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) invites qualified event management service providers to procure comprehensive event management services for the inauguration ceremony of Karachi Industrial Park (KIP) Federal SEZ in Sindh. The scope of work encompasses professional event planning and coordination, protocol management, venue setup and arrangements, media management, branding, logistics, and execution of all activities associated with the inaugural event. PIDC seeks State-Owned Enterprise bidders with relevant experience and a proven track record of successfully managing events for government organizations, including events involving dignitaries and high-ranking government officials.
Bidders must fulfill mandatory requirements including registration with PPRA on EPMDS (https://eprocure.gov.pk), status as an Active Taxpayer with relevant tax authorities, and confirmation of not being blacklisted or currently involved in litigation with any government organization. The bidder must be well acquainted with protocols and security requirements applicable to high-ranking government officials and shall have successfully organized and executed at least three (3) three major inauguration events for Prime Minister, Head of State, Governor, or equivalent level dignitary within the last ten (10) years. Bid security is required in the amount of PKR 1 million as a pay order or demand draft in favor of PIDC. Scanned copy of bid security must be submitted with the technical proposal; the original shall be submitted to PIDC at the specified address.
Interested bidders must submit proposals through PPRA EPMDS portal on or before 9th July 2026 at 1430 hours. Technical and Financial Proposals are to be submitted by the same deadline at 1500 hours. Proposals will be opened on the same day at 1500 hours through PPRA EPMDS. A pre-bid meeting for clarification has been scheduled for 30th June 2026 at 1100 hours. Delayed or conditional proposals will not be entertained. Bid documents and the complete advertisement can be downloaded from the websites of PPRA and PIDC. PIDC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications as per PPRA rules.
