Description / Scope of Work
Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) invites competitive bids for the procurement of goods as part of the Decade of Dams initiative. The O/O CEO-NJHPC (Neelum Jhelum Hydropower Company) has reserved funds for planned procurement in FY 2025-27 and intends to apply part of the proceeds to cover eligible payments under the contract for the O/O CEO(AJM) Procurement of 100kV Insulation Resistance Test Set for Neelum Jhelum Hydropower Station (DDP Basis). The scope of work includes supply and installation of specialized testing equipment required for the hydropower facility located in Azad Jammu and Kashmir region.
Eligible bidders are invited to submit bids in accordance with the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique as per Public Procurement Rules 2004 and any applicable regulatory guidelines. All bids must be accompanied by bid security as described in the bidding documents, presented in the form of Pay Order, Call at Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft where required. Bidders are required to obtain themselves registered on EPADS v2.8 and furnish a Bid Security Declaration as specified in the bidding documents.
Bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, specifications and requirements are available on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/. Bidders must register on EPADS v2.8 on or before Monday July 6, 2026 02:00 PM, with e-bids to be opened the same day at 02:30 PM using EPADS v2.8. Manual bid submission shall not be entertained.
