Description / Scope of Work
The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Layyah invites electronic bids from registered engineering firms and contractors for the construction of a pacca sullage carrier near Lab-E-Neelam (RD 1411 to 2820 RFT) in Layyah City, Punjab. The estimated project cost is Rs. 8.609 million with a completion period of 30 days. This infrastructure development work aims to improve sanitation facilities in the jurisdiction of WASA Layyah through the construction of a properly engineered sewerage carrier system.
Eligibility criteria require that prospective bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in category C-6 or above and must be registered on the Punjab EPADS website (www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk). Bidders are required to submit earnest money security in the form of a Crossed Demand Draft or Pay Order at 5 percent of the estimated cost (Rs. 0.430 million) in favor of the Director Finance WASA Layyah. Original CDR documents must be submitted in an envelope clearly marked with the tender title before the e-bid submission deadline. Bids with amounts exceeding 5 percent below the DNIT will require additional bank guarantees or call deposit receipts. All applicable taxes as prescribed by the Government of Punjab remain the responsibility of the contractor.
Bidders must submit electronic bids through the E-PADs portal before 27 July 2026 at 12:00 PM by uploading PDF files in accordance with PPRA Regulations-2024. Bids will be opened on the same day at 12:30 PM at the office of the Deputy Director (Engineering) WASA Layyah, located at Railway Road in front of the railway station, Layyah. The bidding documents are available for download from the official website. Bids remain valid for 120 days. Submission of hard copies or conditional tenders will not be accepted.
