Description / Scope of Work
The Government of the Punjab, Irrigation Department is inviting tenders for concrete lining works on the Jalal Minor from RD 36+500 to RD 61+264 under the Shahpur Division in Punjab. This is a percentage and item rate tender for construction and civil works with an estimated project cost of Rs. 118,412,621 (Eleven Crore Eighty Four Lac Twelve Thousand Six Hundred and Twenty One). The work scope includes concrete lining of the specified canal stretch, with a completion period of eighteen months. Tenders are being called through the LJC Circle Sargodha and will be managed by the Executive Engineer at Shahpur Division.
Bidders must possess relevant experience in similar irrigation and canal construction projects. The earnest money deposit required is Rs. 5,920,631 (Fifty Nine Lac Twenty Thousand Six Hundred and Thirty One). Bidders are required to inspect the site thoroughly and satisfy themselves regarding ground conditions, hydrological and climatic factors, material availability, labour accessibility, transportation facilities, and all other site-specific circumstances before submitting their bid. Tenderers must submit their own unit rates for each item of work listed in the bid schedule, and the total tender amount must be clearly indicated in both figures and words.
Tender documents and detailed specifications are available from the Engineer-in-charge office at Shahpur Division LJC, Sargodha. Bidders should obtain all necessary contract documents, bill of quantities, and specifications before preparing their tender. Submissions should be made in accordance with the general directions and conditions of contract provided. The tender opening will be conducted at the office of the Executive Engineer, Shahpur Division, with only one work per tender allowed. Any corrections or alterations must be duly attested, and tenders must be submitted by the closing date specified in the notice.
