Description / Scope of Work
The Medical Superintendent of THQ Hospital Burewala invites sealed bids for framework contracts covering ten lots of essential hospital supplies and services for the financial year 2026-2027. The procurement includes general store items, stationery and printing supplies, haematology analyzer equipment on reagent rental basis, pathology chemicals, radiology items with dry pix printer installation on rental basis, dental items, biomedical gases, linen items, surgical instruments, and IT equipment repair services and miscellaneous hospital services. The total bid security across all lots ranges from PKR 15,000 to PKR 400,000 depending on the category, with the largest requirement for biomedical gases procurement. This comprehensive framework contract sourced from government budget allocation is designed to ensure continuous supply of critical materials and services to support hospital operations across multiple departments in Burewala, Punjab.
Eligible bidders must be financially sound and registered with both sales tax and income tax departments. Bidders cannot be associated with firms providing consulting services for the procurement preparation and must not be under declaration of blacklisting by any government department or the Punjab Procuring Regulatory Authority (PPRA). Government-owned enterprises may participate only if they are legally and financially autonomous, operating under commercial law and not as dependent agencies. All bidders are required to submit an undertaking confirming non-blacklisting status. Original cash deposit receipt (CDR) for the bid security must be physically submitted to the Medical Superintendent's office one hour before the bid opening time; failure to do so results in automatic disqualification of the firm.
Bidders must register as suppliers on the EPADS (e-Pak Acquisition and Disposable System) platform at https://Punjab.eprocure.gov.pk to participate in the bidding process. Bidding shall be conducted using open competitive bidding procedures under Single Stage-Two Envelope method as specified in the Punjab Procurement Rules PPRA 2014 (amended to date). Technical bids will be opened on 06/07/2026 at 12:30 PM in the presence of firm representatives at the Medical Superintendent's office.
