Description / Scope of Work
The District Education Authority, Sheikhupura invites electronic bids through E-PADS from income tax and sales tax registered firms, general order suppliers, and manufacturers for the supply of uncooked quality food material and meals to approximately 66 boarding students at Government Abu Huraira, Mohallah Tayaba Abad, Barkat Street, Sharqpur for the financial year 2026-2027. The tender covers provision of breakfast, lunch, and dinner with an estimated cost of Rs. 7.00 million, including rice, meat, chicken, vegetables, grams, and other food items as per the prescribed menu. The bidding procedure shall be adopted under PPRA Rules 38(2)(a) with complete bids to be submitted through the E-PADS platform by 8th July 2026 up to 11:30 am and technical bids opening electronically on the same date at 12:00 noon.
Eligible bidders must be registered for income tax or sales tax purposes and capable of supplying quality food items. All prospective bidders are required to deposit bid security equal to 3% of the estimated amount in the form of a CDR in favour of the Chief Executive Officer, DEA Sheikhupura, along with an affidavit confirming that the firm has not been blacklisted. Without submission of the original bid security and affidavit, bids shall not be processed. Rates must be offered per day per boarding student for provision of three-time uncooked food items, inclusive of all applicable taxes, and shall be applicable for the entire financial year 2026-2027.
Bidding documents can be downloaded using E-PADS at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Complete bids with required supporting documents must be submitted through the electronic platform before the closing deadline. Technical bids will be evaluated first, and only financially qualified vendors will have their financial proposals opened.
