Gujrat Canal Division, an irrigation authority under the Government of Punjab, invites sealed bids for the concrete lining project of 9-R Khoja Disty and Tapiala Minor Road from chainage 10+000 to 29+500 tail. The project encompasses comprehensive concrete lining works including cement plaster application, cement concrete lining using washed screened graded stone aggregate in 1:2:4 ratio on both level and sloped surfaces, bitumen coating, expansion and construction joint filling, and associated earthwork and channel preparation. The scope extends across three major sections: 9-R Khoja Disty concrete lining, Tapiala Minor concrete lining and diversion channel works, and permanent outlet construction. Estimated quantities include 10,900 square feet of cement plaster on level, 10,522 square feet on slope, 2,858 cubic feet of cement concrete on level, 2,759 cubic feet on slope, extensive earthwork excavation, compaction, and transportation across distances up to 175 kilometers. The project also involves data board construction with brick work, reinforced cement concrete structures, and permanent outlet installations.
Eligible bidders must be registered contractors with valid business licenses and relevant experience in irrigation channel and concrete lining works. Contractors are required to submit bid security as per tender specifications and provide proof of technical capability and financial standing. All materials must conform to specified standards including cement, sand, aggregates, and bitumen as per Pakistan Standard Specifications. Contractors must ensure proper disposal of excavated material and compliance with environmental and safety regulations during execution.
Bid documents are available from Gujrat Canal Division office during working hours. Sealed bids must be submitted before the closing date of 7 July 2026 with the tender reference number 4154. Bids will be opened on the specified date in the presence of bidders' representatives. Contractors should submit detailed rate quotations for each item as listed in the bill of quantity, with rates quoted in figures and words.
