Cantonment Board Clifton invites sealed bids for the procurement and supply of miscellaneous items for de-watering equipment and pumps required for rain emergency preparedness in 2026 in Karachi, Sindh. The tender encompasses a comprehensive range of equipment and spare parts including petrol engine de-watering pumps of 5.5 hp capacity with delivery and suction pipes, emergency lighting units, welding machines, cutting and grinding discs, drill machines, air compressors, diesel engine components for 16 hp and 75 hp engines, and various engine packing kits and seals for Honda and diesel engines. The scope of supply includes 45 distinct item categories with quantities ranging from single units to several hundred pieces, all required to support emergency flood management and water removal operations across Clifton Cantonment.
Interested firms and contractors must be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and appear on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue. Bidders are required to submit a copy of their valid registration certificate along with tender form applications. A tender fee of Rs 500 (non-refundable) applies for obtaining the bid document from the Cantonment Board office. Bid security equivalent to 5 percent of the quoted bid cost must be submitted in the form of a pay order or demand draft from a scheduled bank in favour of Cantonment Board Clifton, in accordance with Rule 25 of PPRA Rules 2004 and subsequent amendments. All rates quoted must be inclusive of taxes and delivery arrangements.
The bidding process follows the single stage two envelope procedure under Rule 36(b) of PPRA Rules 2004. Sealed bids comprising separate technical and financial proposal envelopes must be submitted to the office of Cantonment Board Clifton located at CC-38 Street 10 Kh-e-Rahat Phase-VI DHA Karachi-75500. Only technical proposals will be opened initially, with financial proposals retained unopened until evaluation is complete. Bids remain valid for 180 days from submission date. The tender opening is scheduled for 12:30 PM on the specified date.
