Description / Scope of Work
Fauji Foundation, a trust created under the Charitable Endowments Act 1890 for the benefit of ex-servicemen and their families, invites sealed quotations for the procurement of ALC miscellaneous items for limb fitting required by Fauji Foundation Hospital Rawalpindi for the financial year ending 30 September 2027. The tender covers Turkish and German modular ALC stores with detailed item specifications provided in Annex A. The procurement is for the ALC Department at Fauji Foundation Hospital located in Rawalpindi Cantonment, Punjab. Rates must be quoted on FOR basis including installation and commissioning charges; sales tax is exempted for hospital supplies under Government of Pakistan Finance Bill 2008. The demanded items must be delivered in two phases on a six-monthly basis, with rates remaining valid for the entire fiscal year 2026-2027 from October 2026 to September 2027.
Eligible firms must be validly registered with Fauji Foundation at the time of submission, as the submission interface is visible only to registered suppliers. Offers will not be accepted from unregistered firms. Quotations must be submitted on the firm's letterhead with typed rates; hand-written quotations are liable to rejection. Firms must clearly understand and respond to all tender conditions as stated. The remaining life of ALC store items at the time of supply should exceed 75 percent of the total item life, and any medical store items expiring during storage without use must be lifted back by the supplier and replaced with new stock, otherwise recovery will be made through running or pending bills. All suppliers must ensure institutional rates significantly less than trade prices are quoted, as Fauji Foundation is a welfare trust expecting maximum discounts. Manufacturers and distributors are strongly encouraged to quote their best possible rates.
Sealed quotations comprising separate technical and commercial proposals must reach Fauji Foundation Hospital ALC Department, 68 Tipu Road, Chaklala, Rawalpindi Cantonment, P.O. Box 84, by 1100 hours on 8 July 2026; envelopes must be clearly marked with tender number and opening date. Technical proposals without prices must be submitted in a single sealed envelope marked Technical Proposal, containing manufacturer name, pack size, and strength details. Commercial proposals with prices quoted in both figures and words must be in a separate sealed envelope marked Commercial Proposal. Both envelopes should be enclosed in one outer cover, properly sealed. Tender opening will occur at 1130 hours on the same date. Commercial offers will be opened only for firms whose technical proposals are accepted by technical authorities; the opening date for commercial proposals will be intimated separately after technical scrutiny.
