The National Highway Authority invites bids for reconstruction works of National Highway N-5 under Pakistan's Resilient Recovery, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Framework Project, Phase I-A. This tender specifically covers Section-8 of the Nowshera–Peshawar Road, comprising 31 kilometers of highway reconstruction in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The project is part of a larger 141-kilometer rehabilitation initiative funded by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and aims to restore critical transport infrastructure in the region.
Eligible tenderers from AIIB-eligible source countries may bid under the International and Open Competitive Tendering framework. For Section-8, bidders must demonstrate participation in at least one similar highway reconstruction or civil engineering contract that was successfully or substantially completed. Organizations with relevant experience in roads and bridges construction within comparable project values and scope are encouraged to apply. Bidders must comply with all requirements outlined in the invitation for tenders and provide necessary documentation to substantiate their technical and financial capacity.
